I just read ign.com's review for this game.

If you're a huge Star Wars fan, you should be pleased. The article says it offers a great authentic Star Wars experience. But if you're really into RTS games, you may be disappointed. The writer felt that the gameplay was very repetitive and didn't offer a lot of variety as far as strategy goes.

I found the demo of it mildly interesting.  The addition of the strategic map was fun, but it seemed like it all might be a little bit "light."

What's the point of wearing your favorite rocketship underpants if no one ever asks to see them?

It's fairly decent, but I just don't like how they go about with the use of the 'heros' and the production of ships and equipment.  If you defeat a hero in battle they just sit in 'time out' and then after a period of time you can use them again.  At least in Rebellion you had the option of assassinating people or there were deaths in battles.  And the production of ships just seems too fast.  Rebellion had a more realistic timeframe for production I though.

They came out with an expansion game for it not too long ago but I didn't buy it.  I don't play it often enough to justify getting the addition.

The map screen isn't anything special but the land and space battles look great to me.  Though most of my games are 5 years old so perhaps I'm just used to those types of graphics Cheesy
