Appalachian State wins against a number 5 ranked Michigan?  Absolutely crazy.  Michigan deserves to be dropped out of the top 25 in punishment for such a defeat.

Oh they won't be! "It was a fluke..."

Appalachian State just blocked another kick.

Are you kidding?  It's the first game of the year, and voters are idiots.  You really think they couldn't end up in the top 2 by the end of the year if they win all their games from here on out?  Let me repeat: voters are idiots.

At least the polls dropped them out of the top 25 for now.  They still received a few votes to keep them in there but I'm glad the majority decided to shun them.  Even if they win every game here on out I highly doubt they ever attain anything higher than their 5th rank spot.  I hate how losing early in the season is forgiven better than a late season loss to more challenging teams but I just don't see Michigan coming back this year from such a loss.
