Well, OU played like crap in the 2nd half against Colorado today.  Basically, they did everything wrong that they could: no offense, no defense, untimely penalties, and turnovers.  I'm not sure they got a single first down after scoring a TD early in the 2nd half.

Now, with Texas losing badly at home to K-State, can we say the South's dominance over the North is finally over?  Or is the Big 12 just horrible this year?

I couldn't believe that OU blew the game.  They looked so solid every other game.  I don't think the big 12 is horrible per say but I do think a lot of teams are catching up talent and coaching wise.

Crying kid fans are like a hit below the belt.  They should be off limits.

On a side note the Husker game next week is going to be a pure offense slugmatch.  I heard the defenses weren't even going to show up since the offense runs/passes completely around them anyways. Wink

Every year there's some sort of Nebraska VS Oklahama rivalry talk here.

This year, I'm disturbed more so by some of Nebraska's booing fans more than anything else, I hope we do lose if this is the mentality of the populace.

Kidding is ok when its all fun and games (and I hope thats what stays here), but not when it escalates to that level of nonsense.

It's ok to boo the coaches (ahem...Kevin Cosgrove). If nobody boos...Steve Pederson will think things are just swell in the Husker nation. Fact is, our defense has played absolutely abysmal...and every game from here on out is a toss-up.

I agree with Airman.  The coaches have to live up to the expectations that the fans have for the team.  The Ball State score should never have been that close.  It's pretty rediculous to have the defense ranked 78th in the entire nation.  Last in the Big12 for points allowed.  The Huskers could very easily lose the rest of the season out and if that happens the booing will increase.  There will still be Husker fans but they won't be very happy ones.

It's ok to boo the coaches (ahem...Kevin Cosgrove).

The only problem with that statement is that fans can't direct boos towards any specific person during the game (they could if individuals are being introduced before the game or during half-time, ala "here's your Athletic Director, Steve Pederson".  Fans: "BOOOOOOO!!!!"), so when you boo during the game, it's felt by the coaches, players and everyone involved with the team.  If you're booing at the defense, believe it or not, the players feel it too, not just the coach.

On the other subject, OU was never going undefeated with a freshman QB.  I'd rather they lose early and get a shot back at the title game as the rest of the field loses later.  This year more than any in recent memory looks like a toss-up on who'll be playing in the B(C)S game.  Nobody looks good enough to go undefeated.  USC has too many road games that count.  LSU has too many tough games, period.  Don't even get me started on the joke that is the Big Ten.  Sad thing is, the Big 12 isn't much better.

You're wrong, you're all wrong, so there.

I'd rather see letters written to the school than an angry mob embarassing the school and setting an asshat example to the bratty, little snowflakes parents bring to these games.
