i thought it was very thrilling.
MILD SPOILERS:

this isn't your Dracula kind of vampires.
this is the "omg we're all going to be eaten or killed" kind of vampires.
the movie follows all the basic elements of the book, except the end.
the book has the really sappy sad ending, this one, only mildly sad.
i still say - 8.56 out of 10.
