first the review - American Gangster is the story of Frank Lucas, one time crime boss for New York. he was the personification of a hustler in the 60's and 70's. his opposition: Russell Crowe as policeman Richie Roberts. the film portrays both the good, the bad, and the grey areas of each character. it also shows a whole lot of female nudity, so at least you can't be 100% disappointed. in the end; it's not as violent as Casino, it's not swear filled like Scarface, but it pulls together quite a story. i say - 8.35 rating.
but the trailers were also interesting.
