the Mummy: Tomb of Script Writing 101

[Afterthought]

the first Mummy movie of these current installments was great.
the second one, not as great, but still good.
this one? save the women and children first! (SPOILERS)

as i said, i'm thinking this one deserves to be redone and then redone again.
it didn't have the same director as the first 2, Rachel Weisz isn't even in it, and nobody showed up either.
the writers borrowed most of the plot from a bad Saturday morning cartoon and didn't give them credit.
they thought it out okay with the action stuff, but with the plot, dialogue, acting, and "oh no" moments, they just failed.
do you need to see this? no.
do you need to avoid this? yes.
the end - 4.1 out of 10 smashies.

Yeah I'm going to skip over this movie.  The 2nd one wasn't half bad but I think the movie concept has had its day and needed to be put to rest.  The movie still seemed to gross good numbers though so there probably will be a Mummy 4 installment in a few years.

The first Mummy was my favorite movie for quite some time, until LOTR came out. The 2nd Mummy was much less memorable, but tolerable. I probably won't even rent this when it comes out..
