Max Payne - spoilers: here's 1. don't see it.

this should be called Maximum Pain For Your Soul. (I'd have a better pun, but my mind just got blown out my face)
this movie (if I allow myself to call it that) is a 101 recipe on how to make an awesome game into a crappy movie.
really crappy.
this movie is slow slow slow.
soooooooo slow.
"hey kids, remember that game known for cool bullet time effects?"
"well, there's only 1 bit of that here, and it's totally filler. have fun!"
the acting was almost as bad as the plot.
after it was over, I was going to ask for my money back.
but there was already a line of people ahead of me doing that.
yeah, THAT BAD.
almost worst movie of all time, but it didn't miss by much.

They advertised the crap out of this movie.  Tried to give it a Constantine feel to it is what it looked like from the promos.  I wasn't even tempted to go to the theater this weekend.  It's a long wait for the summer 09 blockbusters.
