as some of you may know - I'm a Lakers fan. but I have been a Celtic hater since Tuesday, June 9, 1987.
that date was the day Magic Johnson hit the winning hookshot over 2 Celtics to win Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
I knew then by watching the crowd and the opposing players during the game - "those guys are ********."
and I've hated them ever since. and probably always will.

so in 2008, we got beat in 6 games. and it hurt.
my hated Celtics had outplayed us and out everything that last game.
and my coworkers were all too quick to point this out to me.
last year we won the title, and then it was my turn to shine.
but now - we meet again. for all the marbles, starting on Thursday.

so no poll. not this time.
say what you will about who you think will win, even if it's simple.
myself - of course you know - LAKERS in 7.

We were walking out of our hotel last night and a guy told us he won $1,200.00 betting on the Lakers, he said it was a "sure thing."   Which can only mean you sent him there to guilttrip me for not betting on the game.   afro

Well, to be honest I don't think I've watched a single game this year.  So, as far as predictions go, I'll leave that to the experts.  I'll just root for my Lakers, and against my 2nd hate of the NBA, those stupid Celtics (I respected Bird, McHale, Parrish, but I hated the team -- probably because of the rivalry w/ the Lakers).

GO LAKERS!!

I'm attend the church of "Anyone but the Lakers". Much as I frequent the pub of "Damn the Yankees".
Plus I'm a fan of the Celtics cuz Bird Was awesome when I was a kid. =)
