this movie is meant for pure unbridled fun.
yes there's a good script, and yes it has a few small plot holes (some of the escapes for instance); but it's worth it.
the escapes/action/fighting/planning make this for an interesting, well characterized flick.
there is a lot of action here, not a lot of camp; although - there are lots of great homages back to the old show (the van, drugging BA, etc...)
Biel provides the hotness and then some.
the villain is okay, but could have been better, had better dialogue, but that's a small point.
you can see certain plot points coming a mile away - identity of the Arab, who set them up, how they get away in the end, etc.; but none of this distracts from the film very much.
there is an excellent opening in Mexico where the team is first assembled.
the op in Iraq is good, and it's here that they're set up and shipped off to prison.
the eternal question of flying tanks is finally answered. I did it first in GTA: Vice City though.
stay after the credits for an interesting scene with some original A-Team cast members.
for me, the best part of the movie - Murdocks' off the wall comedy. this is some ad lib brilliance and I couldn't get enough.
overall - 9.28 smashies.
