I hope you guys like it more than all the reviews I've heard of... whatever you do, don't check out Rotten Tomatoes review. I didn't think they could rate something that low.

Oh, this...
The Last Airbender

Yeah, looks like a good one to see in 3D in the theatre.  I'll see if the other half is interested.

And Dens: I see it's an M. Night Shyamalan flick.  Pretty much every movie he does gets hacked by the so called Movie Reviewers.  They've been wrong on most.  Won't get into that rant again...lets just say I dismiss everything they say when it comes to his movies anyways.

I never trust the critics. After all its just like another movie goer's opinion on the flick and their so called "in depth" artistic viewpoint on the movie. If a movie seems interesting to me I will go see it. If I like it, I like it. If I don't, I don't. About 95% of the movies I have gone to see that the critics have bashed I have liked.

I prepped with myself by watching the first series off of NEtflix so I had an idea of what to expect from the movie.

Dialogue was a bit forced in places, character portrayal(s) were a little sub par and the plot went in a slightly different tangent than the actual series went.

Overall, it was an ok flick with good special effects.

7.5 out of 10

Xero hit is right on the button. The movie was good. Why the critics completely bashed it I could not tell. Small little things could of been better but it was a good flick.
