put simply - when you go see this movie, wear a helmet, because it will BLOW YOUR MIND!
it won't make you question reality per se, like the Matrix did, but it will come close.
this movie is so insightful, smart, intelligent: it's along the lines of seeing a movie like A Beautiful Mind.
thank you Mr. Nolan for this offering. the critics will say "shame" for using actors from your previous movies, but F them.
the acting and writing are both top notch and somebody better get an Oscar out of this.

granted this film is a little hard to keep up, unless you have your thinking cap on, and your cell phone off.
granted Nolan uses the same "the beginning of the movie is really the end" technique like in Memento, but you don't see it coming.
if you've ever taken a Psychology or Sociology class, this movie isn't THAT hard to understand.
if not, I can try to explain it the best I can. and yes, I'm listening to the music from the film right now to get it right.

right off the bat - this storyline is to be seen to be explained.
it's a game of 3-D chess but in dreams.
consider this: can you actually steal an idea from somebody's dream?
would that make you the dreamer, or simply part of someone else's dream?
can you question reality in a dream, without waking up?
better yet, could you plant an idea in someone by tapping into their dream?
that's the kind of paradoxes this movie gives to you. IN THE SAME FILM.
Freud would have a field day with this movie.

some things you'll notice during the film:
1) "What's the most resilient parasite? An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules." = Thank you "V for Vendetta."
2) the briefcase dream inducing device could have used more explanation, but there's no time.
3) are there too many dreams going on at the same time?
as the WoW video says "HANDLE IT! more dots, get to the center!" don't worry, you'll get it.
4) ever heard of being haunted by nightmares, or guilt pains? not like this YOU AIN'T!
it's revealed the main character indirectly killed his wife by convincing her of "an idea."
she thought the real world was just a dream, and killed herself thinking it would "wake her up." sadly, she was wrong.
5) this thing was layered like the movie "The Sting." it's got cons and jobs and con jobs all put together to be 1 story. and like "The Sting", it's just as good.
6) after the dreams are over, you might think this heist was like robbing Fort Knox.

the ending of the movie is left open ended. however - my interpretation -
at the end of the movie, the totem is wobbling, but doesn't fall down as the film closes, so we don't know anything for certain, but consider this:
in the dreams, he never gets to see the faces of his children.
in the end/reality - he sees his children, faces and all.
I'm going with that scenario.
as it was over the crowd gave an equal "aw" and clapped.
I give it - 9.594 smashies.

I'm not going to read the spoilers but virtually everyone that has said anything about it has said that it is an amazing flick, and it also looked interesting on it's own so I'll check it out.

What's the point of wearing your favorite rocketship underpants if no one ever asks to see them?
