I remember a while back I got the chance to BETA test this game back when it was just Storm Reach. I was naive and biased back then when it came to certain games. I also think my gaming rig didn't really operate it that well.

So I was really bored one day and figured I would go on fileplanet.com and see what kind of demos or free games they were offering. Well I found a familiar game. Dungeons and Dragons Online Unlimited. I was like "oh wow...I kind of remember this." I was surprised to see it was free. So I figured I would give it go. Reading all the positive reviews while I waited for it to download was comforting. I got into the game and started playing with my Fighter. The more and more I played the more I could feel the addiction creeping up on me again. As I got into the populated areas I was kind of expecting very few people who spoke English. Thinking that Koreans or Brazil had completely taken over the game as it tends to happen that way in a lot of free MMO's. Nope...everyone spoke English well and most were American.

The game has come a long way and is pretty fun. So I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me in playing. Start a bunch of level 1's together, form our own guild and get our own air ship. Maybe designate a particular night each week we could all get on and play so we can stay pretty close in level between each other. And if the urge takes hold to play without everyone, create a alternate character to play and level solo.

to point out some more details about it. With it being Free you only get 2 character slots. And certain classes/races are not available to you. You can purchase these extra things in the DDO store. You gain points by completing quests ect... Or you can pay real cash for large sums of points. The DDO store is neat...if you find yourself in a real pickle and just don't have the time to exit a dungeon to get more supplies only to have it reset and do it all over again. You can buy supplies with your points and they are instantly put in your inventory.

Btw we should cordinate what classes we go. I'll be starting a level 1 Human Paladin.

Sounds tempting, but as I mentioned in another thread, my current internet connection isn't very conducive to gaming. Maybe I'll give this a whirl when I can get a better connection.
