I've been reading up on this a bit and it really looks to be the perfect mix of action/FPS a MMO could ever offer. So many others out there have failed at being FPS MMO's in the fact that they lacked PvE or just plain failed at the PvE aspect of a FPS MMO. Every single one out there is all PvP. The game that came the closest to this was Huxley and it looks like Huxley will never see the light of day.

I am really excited about Fire Fall...it looks to really implement co-op play in a PvE environment with the added bonus of it being an MMO. Click that link and scroll to the bottom and check out the developer game play commentary...you will not be dissipointed. The BETA will be coming soon...all you have to do to sign up for it is register with their forums. Best thing about this is it will be entirely Free To Play when it is released in 2011.

Closed BETA will be starting in a few months.

This isn't official word by Red 5 but they just got done with PAX East which had a working BETA build there. Red 5 is planning on releasing Version 1 by Q4 this year. So I would assume we will be seeing a closed BETA shortly. More time for them to test considering the game is going to be free and will need to keep a player base to stay alive. They also stated there will be an open BETA too.

If you haven't yet I suggest signing up for their forums...that automatically puts you in the pool for closed BETA. Good Luck everyone.
