I like the Peach and Zelda bit.  Mario golf because Mario's got to relax on his day off.  I was expecting a Super Smash Brothers reference in there near the end.

On the "good people still exist" story...flip side of the coin is the IRS...can only imagine them licking their chops thinking about how many ways that they can tax that money: income tax on the finder, gift tax and income tax on the people he gave it to...we'll hear a follow-up story in 10 years about how the finder ended up in jail for failure to report income, lol
