what is going on in comics?

the DC relaunch is coming next month. GIANT reboot of everything.
so not to be outdone: let's F with Spiderman.
and to make even less sense: let's kill Hellboy!
at least we get a Walking Dead video game out of all this.
and a decent looking Superman movie.

Dangit - now I need to go pick up some ultimate spiderman. Interesting direction they are taking with the series - will be interesting. Didn't pick up on Hellboy other than the movies but is an interesting twist. They'll pull a quesadilla and he'll be back...

I am a Brandon Routh fan. He did a good job filling shoes that, let's face it, no one ever can completely. But no. Let's reboot AGAIN. DC has been so fond of rewriting their IP during my life it's the reason I've purchased only 3 issues of their comics in my life. Well, that and the fact that almost all of their supers are either wimpy or so unrealistic it makes my right eye twitch with seizures trying to read them.

I thought Brandon Routh also did an excellent job in the last superman movie and would have enjoyed another in that series had they kept it going.

Will be interesting to see which villain/direction they take with the rewrite. Is the new movie going to be based off any of the new superman arc reboots?
